Overview
A private, professional New Orleans–based family is seeking an Infant Nanny to provide full newborn coverage through 10-12 hour day shifts .
Their baby is expected via surrogate in early February and may arrive earlier than anticipated, so candidates must be flexible with start date. Initial care will take place in West Palm Beach, FL, where the baby will be born, followed by travel with the family back to New Orleans, their primary residence.
The Family is looking for someone who can stay with them Long Term.

Ideal Experience
- 7+ years of professional newborn experience
- Experience supporting premature, medically delicate, or higher-needs newborns is a plus
- Comfortable providing care in the early postpartum period and adapting as needs evolve

They value discretion, reliability, and collaboration and are looking for someone confident in newborn care who can also gently guide and support new parents.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing, and high-quality newborn care
- Support feeding, soothing, diapering, and safe sleep practices
- Track and communicate sleep, feeding, and daily routines
- Maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment for the baby
- Support and educate parents with warmth and professionalism
- Prepare bottles and manage baby-related organization
- Travel with the family as needed and assist with transitions
Qualifications
- Infant/Child CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of newborn development, sleep, and feeding
- Calm, grounded, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Comfortable supporting first-time parents
- Discreet and respectful of a private household
- Fluent English required (Spanish a plus)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Open to travel and temporary relocation
Compensation
- $30–$40/hour, depending on experience and certification
- Competitive pay for highly qualified candidates
- Travel costs and accommodations provided when applicable
